5th grade Teamwork

Happy Wednesday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we discussed dividing by decimals. Problem set 119 was assigned and is due on Thursday.

Science/Health: Today we finished out discussion on tobacco and began discussing alcohol.

Social Studies: Today we discussed the Judicial Branch of the government.

In Mrs. D's class we began giving our oral presentations for the PhD project. A lot of Power Point presentations were used and they were great. Spelling workbook pages for unit 35 are due tomorrow. Mainac Magee section 3 should be done for tomorrow.

In Mr. H's class we read chapter 8 and 9 in Sarah Plain and Tall. We took a spelling pretest. We went to the computer lab and worked on math skills. We also completed an in class writing activity.

In Mr. P's class we worked on 12 spelling sentences and took a pretest over unit 35. We continued to work on our end of the year projects. We listened to Mom's Best Friend on tape and worked on a crossword and word search to go along with the story.
